Perfect opportunity to buy some more, exactly what I did.

Posted ^ on the 14th of Sep. in this tread. Bought some more BTC @ $3500. In hindsight, I would say it was a good 30 day investment.

I think it's just short term traders selling at peaks and some panic sellers.

I sold about R10k of mining proceeds and will sell every 2 days until it corrects now since #of btc amassed per day is lower with the price being up. My main aim is to finish paying the miners off.

I took some profit yesterday on part of my holdings. Hoping for a nice, deep correction now to get back on the bus :D

All these types of posts are killing me to find out how much BTC people on this forum have as well as when they bought in. :D

E.g. holding 1 BTC isn't bad I guess, but big difference between buying it in Sept vs say 2015.

I own more than 2, less than 100 :D Started buying when they were around R6k - continued to buy and trade vs Alts.

Apparently according to the myBB survey, there were not a lot of guys that indicated they own more than $5000 worth of BTC, if I recall correctly?

And then there's this thread.

10,000 BTC for 2 pizzas. :o

I do think so ..... And must admit i'm tempted to take my profit.

R79200 ever so briefly, whales are certainly playing. You would be silly to sell now. Maybe after October before/after split timing is everything. But the split will most certainly see some kind of correction! I think we might see 10k by Xmas.

Not that I listen to Jacaranda but Wife said they mentioned BITCOIN breaking 5k mark yesterday. Momentum is building.

26 October mark it down!

In other news, it seems Bitcoin Cash is doing terribly even with this spike in BTC.
Think the time has come to sell my measly $300 worth of BCH for some BTC.

ugh. just bought more BTC at 78k per btc.

Feels like I'm getting shafted buying this high, then 10mins later it's even higher. With my luck it's going to dip to 60k again today. Just watch.

its doing quite nicely, just to let people know I brought R1K worth of BTC
when the price was around 61K now sitting nicely with at least almost R300 worth of profit....

so yes you can make decent cash, just need to but more cash in.....

Not due to lack of luck, but due to going against every bit of advice that says don't buy high. I find the problem with this is now you're emotionally invested whereas previously it was a sound investment. Now you're gonna be worried every time you see red. I always regret fomo.

You might just be lucky in this case tho.

Yeah I know I know. :p

But fortunately / unfortunately it wasn't a lot. Just topping up to have round values of BTC. (or rather part thereof). Would be so much simpler to have a BTC value of 1.0 so that I wouldn't have to convert it the whole time to see where I'm at.

That being said if it does drop, I've still made profit enough to cash out at or above my initial buy-in capital.

Hehe, I have exactly 1 BTC. I buy in portions of 0.25 or 0.5 BTC usually.

Need more but will wait for the dip!!
