Lol, I got caught out like that too. Sent R200 to bitpay wallet and paid over R300 in fees.
Is there a way to avoid this?

Zulfiqar how's your Bitcoin journey been so far with what you've seen and read on here? I'm still wondering if it's you who asked us if it was worth investing...this was when we hit R120k/coin.

Yeah it was me voicy.. lol.. at 120k!!
Yeah i own 0.029 BTC.. not much.. lil at a time.. whatever extra i have i buy with.. im already up 3k on initial investment..
And still find it hard to comprehend when guys are buying 1 or 2 BTC at a time.. i remember when it fell to 81k and i panic sold all i had.. someone had just posted that he bought 2 BTC at 81k.. lol thats what made me buy back in.. one day my "0.0-something" BTC will be worth a crap load
Till then.. ima keep buying!

The demand all the way down to R240k is a bit low. People are afraid of being burned by buying too high especially after the sudden drops recently. I'll wait for it to come down a bit or for that R250k wall to fall before jumping in again.

I think people are waiting for the R250k wall to drop. It's too big. There's no point in buying close to it as there's a good chance we might not get past it if the USD prices drops again shortly. Once it goes down though I'm sure we'll hit R260k easy as everyone will jump on then.

Plenty of BTC to be sold before 250K.... and then that massive chunk at 250K.

There is also a fork happening today. Super Bitcoin which may or may not give us coins at a 1:1 ratio
