I feel I'm in a pretty good place now, I have sold out enough of my portfolio to reclaim all of my initial investment (plus a little more). This while retaining about 70% of my cryptos. Was always my intention to reclaim my initial investment once it had tripled, waited for it to go a little higher than that due to it being so volatile.

Feels good, crypto's could crash and burn now and I wouldn't lose a cent (other than potential profits).. Hopefully it rather does another 1000% so I can buy that aeroplane.. :D
 
One week ago I bought R500 Bitcoin and got 0.00212903 coins which were worth R619 today.
Then today I spent R1022 to buy a bit more, got 0.00356751 bringing total bitcoins to 0.00569654

Obviously the price went up this past week to buy it, fee was 1% each time.

Now worth only R1563 today.

Does this sound right?

Current rate on Luno is ~R267k so that sounds about right..
You should look into placing market orders though, instead of buying outright to save yourself the 1% fee.

You have to select the post first before the button appears. But don't worry, as soon as Tapatalk releases an update it will all change :rolleyes:
 
Woke up just now to see a lot of people buying and pushing the price up on Luno whilst the USD price has been flat for several hours. Wonder what's going on.

Eish and I just got used to this. The button doesnt show until I turn to landscape on mine... (and select the post)

Probably. Also a case of everyone buying but hardly anyone selling at all for the last couple hours.

I've noticed a trend especially on the weekend mornings. If people are buying then everyone buys, if selling then everyone sells. Just depends on what people wake up to.
