Which language are you writing it in if I may ask?

Python because CCXT, Pandas and Numpy. BUT, I reckon once I've got something going that Go would be a much better fit for this considering you can feed the data via channels and stuff. Python makes it friggin "easy" to prototype with it though.

There is a holiday in the way of progress though and who knows what things will look like next year.

I see, thanks for the info. Gonna look into coding my own bot as well

The rand strengthened about 3% today so there should be roughly a R10k drop in the Luno price compared to yesterday.

*opens luno, shakes head, ****ing panic sellers, closes luno*

Think short summary is:

- Rand strengthened a few percent
- Arbitragers were waiting for the right moment to sell
- One started selling and the others all followed immediately not to lose out
- The panic sellers then decided to join in

Yarr, makes sense... I expected a drop, but like a 285-290k, not 275, they all jumped onboard and guaranteed have lost

I think it should settle at around R295k if the USD BTC price holds around $18.5k.

I had bought in earlier at R303k before the drop so I couldn't take full advantage of the movements. Managed to sell though and buy back in for cheaper so even If I sell at R295k now, I still make a profit.

Just received my Nano Ledger S today so will take it off the exchange once I get home from work. No point having it on exchange unless you want to trade.

What does it cost to send coins from an exchange to your hardware or software wallet, and vice versa?

A mate of mine lost his laptop with a couple BTCs on.. He was using Bitcore.. If he recalls correctly..

Are there any options? He doesn't remember much about it as it was a couple years ago...

Your advise is appreciated.

A couple of bit coins? :wtf:

Sounds like a lost lottery ticket story to me. How can you lose your btc though? Excuse my ignorance.

If he hasn't written down private keys or anything useful then no...his millions are lost to the void.

Yeah... Sad story. But true...

Had 3 BTCs.

They were all on his laptop and was stolen out his car.

Doesn't have any keys words etc... But did make backups of the laptop.

Can you not restore from this?

Sorry that's all the details I have.

Sorry... What would be useful?
Has he written anything down or not?
But I guess he's either got the private keys or he doesn't. Without them there's no way he's getting that bitcoin back.
