The fees to send it out of Luno is absolutely crazy...

Tried sending R20 to Exodus to test, fee is .0019 BTC
 
Anyone hoping segwit2x new fork date would be good news are living in scam city. The new team is unknown and simply took over the name and apparent code. There is some bs crypto model of some sorts in charge as a developer. Its a huge crapshoot of a scam angle, Good luck.

Looking at the exchanges supporting the fork you get a good idea of what a dodgy release this is going to be. Not a single reputable exchanges in the supported list besides hitbtc(however seems hitbtc sold their souls to any potential fork these days)

Why move it to another exchange? Just move to a wallet where you control the private keys.
You can then claim the coins yourself once a wallet you trust becomes available.
 
Maybe a stupid question sorry,

If I have btc in a software wallet (electrum), will I in future be able to claim B2X?
 
B2X Futures on HitBTC down to 0.0355 BTC (about $507), coinmarketcap says $724 with Yobit at $847

I'm beginning to agree with what was said about B2X and dodgy exchanges.

Yes, if you have a balance at the time of the fork. You will need to find a wallet that supports B2X (not sure if there are any yet) and import your keys from electrum. I'm not sure if B2X has replay protection so to be safe you should create a new wallet in electrum and send your balance to that before importing keys from the old wallet.
 
Just caught up now.. Btc still in luno. If I send them all and the fork happens while the transactions still unconfirmed what happens?

Freaking expensive just transferring back and forth...
 
I decided to just leave whatever I have on the exchange. Hopefully they will offer the coin, if they don't then tough.

I don't understand the BTC trend at the moment though, thought it would be going up. I wonder it if it's going to bomb around New years.
