I wouldn't consider doing nothing as being too greedy, but reckless spending might be - especially at that price.

I also think the psychological impact of having cashed out your initial investment plays a big roll in how we cope with dips. Much easier to HODL if you know your initial investment isn't at risk...at the expense if missing out on possible gains.

Treating gains like "responsible" gamblers might also be an option. Each time you buy in more, maybe cash out that buy-in periodically. I dunno, I just worry that the wrong people are getting burnt by bitcoin , which could have the ripple effect of government intervention.
The man yet lives

My plan as well. But damnit I need it to get to 295 again for that plan to realize.

When it was 300+ I decided to let it ride a bit more (yup to greedy).

I'm sure it will go back up again. But I think it's going to be a bit "slow go" for the next few weeks until the world restarts.
i think we were all there when it hit 300k hahahaha

im a bit of a noob with this game but i do enjoy learning as i go along, at one stage i bought in way too high but kept my cool and waited for the right moment to buy in a second time at a low point, as thing stand now i am atleast breaking even, nothing lost, nothing gained. but its been a hell of a lot of fun thus far

Any decent exchanges to get Ripple? Just wanna dip my toe and Poliniex want's a lot of Eth for it :p

Changelly.com

Minor derail:
Also what wallet you using? Gatehub seems to be taking quite a commission or something. XRP network fees is super low soooo not sure whats up. Still made some good money on XRP already.

Ended up on Binance. Didn’t see any fees even

Wait for them to realise(ver shills already do, but somehow never mention it) the only reason its cheaper is cos the chain is empty and has no volume to scale fees, just like all the majority of cheap fees alt coins. There is a reason, there is no volume to move so there is no bidding war. Years back when btc did bch's current volume it was less than a tenth of a cent to send, if you want to do the math and convert for $ value and volume, btc works out to 10cent vs bch 25cent. bch is a dead(no active development), centralised coin, owned by criminals who also own the hashing power, every transaction sent he gets paid the fees. Thus why he's pushing so hard for adoption and why he wants the bitcoin name, money money money, and if he gets the name, it will be registered and owned by him too.

People move their money into other currencies, closing all my BTC positions to move to XRP was the best decision I could make. Instead of losing money with BTC I already made 42.37% with XRP since yesterday. And looking at the lack of BTC support I am not the only one.

If BTC recovers I think it will take a long time, what do you guys think?

Which exchange are you using?

What are the predictions for its recovery?

well if you have created "nothing" and rely on the value to creep up because the nothing you have created is limited, what do you expect is going to happen?

You said you leaving the crypto world, it’s too volatile for you.
Now you in XRP all of a sudden.
What you gonna do when XRP corrects? No more shoulders left to cry on bud.

lost all hope in crypto, closed all my positions and revert back to traditional investments. the bubble is about to burst, it's not stabilising nor recovering, just continuously dropping... no point waiting it out.

I want some of what you're smoking to go the new year in with a bang.
