is today the day we finally see sub 9000usd:sick:
I kinda hope so...it needs to break that $10k mark to feel like a good & proper pullback after the ridiculous gains near the end of 2017; just a bit more pain to even out the scales.

10500 held for now....

People on Luno rushed to sell. Now rushing to buy. Fun to sit back and watch sometimes.

im not convinced its people anymore -- i have a suspicion those are bots and fixes/buy sell orders.

that many ppl cant be watching it the whole time...

People sold thinking it would go down a lot. It recovered so now they rush to get back in, most ending up in a worse position compared to just not doing anything.

I invested 10K this January.. 5 @145K and 5 @155K on luno.. hope it does well

I've seen a few types of bots on Luno

- The easiest to spot are the ones placing orders systematically as soon as there is a spread. This is the most common one I think.

- There's at least one bot that moves around large orders on Luno. Around 2+ BTC orders placed at a time. I assume it's trading based on some strategy as I can instantly make it move its order by placing mine on the book close by (my order doesn't have to be in front)

- Then there are bots that instant buy/sell lots of tiny amounts (average less than R1000 per trade) instead of placing orders. Not sure if these are actually there to make a profit or if they are being used to make it seem like lots of people are buying/selling.

sounds like an automated version of Wolf of Wall Street

I'm going to say we've seen the low... that 9k everyone has been waiting for just doesn't seem to be happening...
