the transaction fee is lower than a bank wire - and in my experience the transfer is faster than a bank wire.

but the bank wire time could be a bank process that could be improved to make it faster

Yeah I think the main reason some companies are not taking Bitcoin anymore is because of the price continuously going down for the last month or so. They were all happy to take Bitcoin when the price grew to $19k over several months. So I think it's more that they weren't converting their Bitcoin revenue to fiat immediately and were instead speculating by using revenue as an investment vehicle.

I dreamed that bitcoin hit 1USD and I chucked a couple hundred rand at it.

Don't buy yet this isn't over
If people are trading on that moving average...probably still a little dip to go. Be interesting to see if it falls past or finds support there (the red line).

It's very strange. I mean who is sitting there thinking "Alright if it just goes up half a percent THEN I'll sell!"

It can only be the whaliest of whales (banks?) manipulating the market.

or perhaps those who made profits at the top, all shorted once the contracts became available- tried and tested hedge fund tactic

Well that certainly happened to some extent, but that should have played itself out by now.
