The Brexit Thread

Weather in the UK has gone to **** (obviously). One of the reasons people didn't vote in the referendum, when asked, was because it was raining (also, "I had other things to do", "Didn't know there was a referendum"). Wonder if there will at least be a decent turnout this time? This could end up being the 2nd most important vote of our generation, after all.
The ones who usually bitch the most and loudest are the ones who don't vote. Then they get upset when you point that out. It's a universal issue

It's interesting that you have Conservative vs Labour split as well as Leave vs Remain split. If you vote Remain, you are kinda out of luck. The Conservatives don't represent you, and Labour cannot guarantee that a second referendum would occur, or if it did, that Remain would win.

And the Lib Dems will never win.

Based on what Labour is doing, it looks more likely than not that Brexit will occur. One Labour has no chance of winning, two even if they did win, Brexit could still happen. Corbyn doesn't like the EU.

I'll be there. Helps that my voting station is over the road :D

I have no idea who I am gonna vote for (only decided not going to vote Conservative).

I seem to live in a Lib Dem stronghold based by a purely unscientific method of seeing the loads of Lib Dem posters outside most of the houses in my village.

I saw that, how can the Tories be so stupid as to have multiple accounts tweet the identical paragraph word for word?

Idiots.

They really are the U.K. equivalent of the ANC under Zuma. A self serving liar surrounded by sycophants putting party before country and selling out the voters for their own careers. Absolute bare faced liars the lot of them.

And chris thinks it's everyone else, other than the conservaturds, that are lying

Almost all of the Conservative Party’s recent Facebook adverts promote claims labelled as misleading by one of the platform’s third-party fact-checking partners, a First Draft investigation has found.

First Draft has not been able to find misleading claims in Facebook adverts from the Labour Party.

But both sides!

About 70% of Tory Remainers are sticking with BoJo from polls I've seen - perhaps because they are not sore losers and respect democracy (unlike the Lib Dems, SNP, Plaid, Greens and many in the Labour party). Oh, and Corbyn is a far scarier prospect than exit from the EU. It's why the Tories are poised to win heavy remain seats in the capital like Cities of London and Westminster, Kensington, Finchley and Golders Green (although last seat is mainly due to Jewish vote running far away from Labour as possible).
