I did like his speech this morning and if he manages to actually pull it off I will be happy. He seems to be taking a much 'softer' approach to things than the traditional conservative line. As he said, the conservative party itself has to change. I also suspect he'll go for a much softer brexit. I especially liked how he managed to completely distance himself from the years of austerity cuts as if he had nothing to do with it! He is a master at that. Hopefully that has now come to an end. I think many people voted for Boris, specifically, rather than the conservative party as a whole, so he is carrying a lot of responsibility now and for the next few years. I think the EU must be really happy with this outcome too.
