The Brexit Thread

Though some of the Brexiteers seem to be onside for this.

Cabinet Brexiter Chris Grayling acknowledged the deal could lead to issues in negotiating a US trade deal.

The transport secretary said: “I didn’t campaign to leave the European Union to have a different specification of motor car on sale in the UK to the one that’s on sale in France. This is simply saying that we will effectively sell the same products across Europe as we do now – it’s what business does and would do anyway, nobody produces a different product for one country.”

Asked what the common rulebook with the EU on food products would mean for the proposed US trade deal, Grayling told Today: “There may be individual issues to address in future trade talks.”

You now change goalposts, you went from stopping the hordes of barbarians who hate the West (which I suppose means djihadist that you can stop very easily for reasons of public order and this is perfectly allowed by the European treaties) to stopping EU immigration which is a different subject.

It's three pillars by the way and they do not refer to this but to the EU institutions (EC, CFSP and PJCCM). I guess you want to say the four freedoms.

OT/ I see you guys are in too the third night of looting and riots and burning cars, hope all is ok, any sign on when peace will be restored?

Where would that be? Can’t find it anywhere in the news.

Edit: it would be Nantes. 10 cars burned, the country is at war.

Seems like May has managed to get her Cabinet - in particular, including that dimmest of bulbs Johnson - to agree to what amounts to a soft Brexit. She's also made it clear that any Tory MPs who aren't willing to endorse this, will find themselves without a job.

Farage, predictably, has already bleated his outrage, yet there's deathly silence from Rees-Mogg's camp. I assume the latter is having an uncomfortable weekend contemplating the millions he's going to lose via Somerset, now that a hard Brexit isn't going to happen and the pound isn't going to go into freefall.

This is the Brexit thread. If you want to talk about goings-on in France, please make another thread regarding those, don't take this one off topic.

The guy is trying to troll you, if you don't react he'll piss off.

Stick to Brexit here.

Come now guys, what was the main reason why British people voted for brexit????

I have noticed that remoaners, are all for multiculturalism, and is that not what’s kind of behind the current riots in France?

F2wohf is a anti brexit remoaner and Frenchman, thus I was asking what’s his current thoughts on the current situation in Nantes.

LOL it’s a brexit thread full of remoaners, carry on lads, I will threaxit.

These guys are French of second or third generation born in France, not migrants. They’re as french as I am.

Note also that we imported their parents from the colonies because we needed workforce, they didn’t come on their own.

Leaving the EU, NATO, the UN, the OSCE or whatever else won’t make them less French or allow to deport them... Frexit or Brexit won’t change a thing about this.

Massive fail too, I’m not a remoaner, I’m very happy that the UK leaves, they’ve always slowed the European construction. I’m merely laughing at how badly Brexit is prepared and executed.

What I think of Nantes, nothing. A cop shot a guy for reasons that are worth investigating, when this happens riots happen and not only in France, in the UK or US too.

He must be meeting with Whright who surprisingly disappeared too.

I start to believe that Brexiters are French with their surrendering habit. :D

Chris_the_Brit has been an escape artist of note for years, he'll make some wild unsubstantiated comment (usually having some sort of agenda involving racism, immigrants, Eastern Europeans or Muslims) and then disappear from the thread when asked for facts and stay hidden until he thinks people have forgotten.
