The Brexit Thread

When you live in a country where the rule of law is followed, everyone should, and as it’s currently the main item on the national news (and has been for days), is being discussed on all the political shows and even have direct interviews with the guilty bastard man it shows that a lot of people do care.

You still don't get it?

Banks is being investigated for money laundering. You even posted a source. Yet somehow in your deluded mind, you assume this could/would have affected the outcome of Brexit. So now some of his staff worked on the Leave campaign and he didn't disclose it (yawn). This is only Brexit news because of the funds he donated. Nothing more nothing less. You seem to think this is somehow affecting the results of the referendum. It doesn't, never has never will.

I can't give two farks about Bank, nor does the rest of Britain, leave or no leave. He himself is being investigated for money laundering.

You really are clueless about what Britain thinks of Banks.

Maybe you should be sticking to Afriforum threads where you might at least have a slight idea what you’re talking about.

Again... you are wrong.

They are not even running the Banks story no more... You got caught hook, line and sinker... Sorry nê :D

Just a story of him being sorry (he got caught), and he has changed his mind on leaving.
People can't give two farks :D

Again, does fark all to the whole Brexit matter. But you want it to, even though it won't happen :D

You really can be dumb and ignorant. The Banks story is still item number 1 on most political discussion shows, it’s still in the papers and it’s still on the news.

You do realise how stupid you are sitting in the north of the “ou Transvaal” telling someone in England you know better about what’s happening in England?

Its not Soros so its not worth foaming at the mouth for.

Pretty colouring in, but completely wrong.

Germany can't negotiate its own deals outside the EU structure, any trade deal has to be negotiated by the EU and then ratified by all 28 members (27 after Brexit) and that agreed trade agreement is what all EU countries have to abide by.
Can they not? Just wait what happens to their principles when it likely to cost them. Germany first, last, and all the way inbetween. 'Twas ever thus.

Hannan wants access to the single market while having the ability to sign trade agreements with the rest of the world.
I don't think he cares about the minor details of that access. FTA would suit him fine.

He seems very determined to swing our trade to high growth regions anyway. Probably more determined than he is to have access to the single market, although everyone wants to have their cake and eat it too. He will be wanting both.
China does not seem to have difficulty in accessing the single market. If they can, so can we. But it matters little, as the balance in trade with the EU is overwhelmingly in favour of the EU. They have much to lose. They are much better at playing poker than Mrs. May.

Why are you quoting posts nearly two years ago from a banned user?

The money he laundered was used to fund the Leave.EU campaign, who has also been referred to the CPS for breaking electoral laws, during the Brexit campaign.

Which is AGAIN in his personal capacity, he also used staff to work on the campaign, which was never disclosed. So what? He laundered money in the process and that is what is being investigated. He used the Brexit campaign for personal gain by laundering money, or so are the claims. Again, has fark all to do with the Leave/Stay argument.

Here is the issue:

The Electoral Commission, said it had reasonable grounds to suspect that Banks was not the true source of 8 million pounds of loans made to a company called Better for the Country Limited (BFTCL) - of which Banks was a director. BFTCL was not registered as a permitted participant in the referendum and a number of criminal offences may have been committed, the Commission said.

I’ve come to the conclusion that not even Pitbull is quite this dumb, I think he is just trolling now...

It’s not money laundering, the main investigation is electoral offences (which could lead to money laundering offences, but that is not a given or the main scope of the investigation), maybe try and keep it accurate as it makes the trolling seem more believable.

The commission said the investigations would focus on £2m reported to have been lent to Better for the Country (BFTC), a company that was used to finance Leave.EU, and £6m more reportedly provided to the organisation, on behalf of Leave.EU, by Banks.

Of the total, £2.9m was used to fund referendum spending on behalf of Leave.EU.

A statement said: “Due to multiple suspected offences, some of which fall outside the commission’s remit, the commission has referred this matter and handed its evidence to the National Crime Agency.”

The NCA confirmed it had begun an investigation connected to “suspected electoral law offences covered by that referral, as well as any associated offences”.

It said: “While electoral law offences would not routinely fall within the NCA’s remit, the nature of the necessary inquiries and the potential for offences to have been committed other than under electoral law led us to consider an NCA investigation appropriate in this instance.”

To be a little more constructive about this, I can confirm that most of the electorate do not give a damn about Banks. I suppose that died in the wool Remainers, who have not yet got over the fact that the electorate did not subscribe to their point of view (Luvvies are apparently of superior intellect, so never wrong!!) might be clutching at straws. I was and am a leaver, and came to that decision without any input from the money provided by the likes of Banks. I had some research to do to find out what the fuss was all about, and it seems that the 'issue' is a dead duck in the UK. I telephoned some friends and they were unaware of the so called issue.
Dream on remainers.

You can confirm? How have you managed to check with circa 47 million people do quickly? You certainly haven’t been asking in my street as I’m sure I’d have seen you.

Funny you can claim that though when it’s running as a main news story on the all the channels, being discussed on the political shows, discussed in Parliament, on the radio, in the papers, in the local pub...

You’re sounding like you’ve caught a dose of dumb from a poodle...

If you facepalmed a bit harder you might knock some sense into your head
Then don’t be dumb
...
the Poodles idiocy.
You descending to the level of Pitbull stupidity

You really can be dumb and ignorant
