So why did you point out the opposite? All elections and referenda are determined on the basis of turnout. Of course you are *technically* correct but no-one talks like that in the real world. All politicians all across the world talk about the "will of the people" or "the majority" and by that they are referring to people who actually voted.

Also the turnout for the referendum was slightly above typical turnout in a British GE. Check out the GE turnouts in 2001 and 2005, a highly depressing era in British politics.

I was simply responding to the question "Didn't the Majority vote to leave?" to which the answer is No.
If I had been asked "Didn't the Majority vote to remain?" the answer would have also been No.

The Lib Dems and Green Party have been the biggest anti-Brexit parties out there and showed the greatest gains.

I dont think this brexiteers voting for them. I think its more like brexiteers stayed at home crying

And Labour is also getting a whopping based on projections. They were meant to gain almost half of what the conservatives lost. Especially after their whipping in 2015

But they are actually still in the negative.
