Jesus.

Google.

Over the past 2 years I have seen article after article by pro-Brexit news about this was how the people were sticking it to the elites.

https://blogs.spectator.co.uk/2016/08/betraying-brexit-revolt-elites-people/

I could go on and on and on
Lol you place to much reliance on the press to think for people.

That's not what you said though. And no, the reason for Brexit is control of the borders on their terms. Nit picking a few articles to suit your narrative doesn't make it the reason /facepalm
This is exactly what I said.

These guys voted to give the Elites a big F you, as this relates to Boris directly as he is as Elite as you get. Context is Boris and the elites and how this was a factor for Brexit voters. Keep up.

You then go huh?

I show you a small sample of what the general sentiment of Brexiters, as it relates to the Elites ...

You are joking right? It's always been a left vs right

The swing from left to right in mainstream politics is comparatively small in the UK spectrum. The issue with Brexit is how the Tories have fscked it up by putting their own elitist self interest in front of the will of the people.

That doesn't hold up when you see the elites mocking Borris for his hair and him taking a stand against them.

And Boris mocks other Elites with similar childish rants. So what?

Boris is so rich he forgot about a house that he owns.

Boris hasn't even moved into 10 Downing Street and already the first major disappointment of his tenure. Liberals are backpedaling on their threats to leave the country....

Yeah well I am just doing a Boris. That was then. You lot will not be waving me off any time soon. So sorry. Weep and put up.

People aren't always as rational and logical as you want them to be. Rich can just mean successful or elite. Poor people can still admire him as their champion fighting for them. The childish rants show that he is on the other side.

I'm not trying to be insulting here, but it looks like you and Pitbull have picked a side by default, based on a situation you erroneously seem to think is left versus right.

I have, from the start been pro-Brexit.

Reason being that the UK is bound by EU regulations to not have full control of their borders, specifically EU passport holders. It was mainly the right "Conservatives" that started the Brexit issue and WON. Which sent the Leftists into a massive melt down from the very same day the result was made public. They then had an Remoaner trying to negotiate a deal which she didn't want to do in the first place.

This is a left/right issue. It's not a Boris/May issue.

I disagree with many things Pitbull said and how he thinks there will be a hard border. I think there won't or it would take a lot of time to be put in place.

His ideas are at least rational. I've just commented against the ridiculous end of the world fear mongering and people posting nonsense.

I picked Brexit from the start on principle. Just like I would support anyone wanting independence and their own sovereignty. Trade unions and deals is nice and all, until unelected bureaucrats in another country start making rules and laws.

I would go out on a limb and say that if Buka's labour force, who he said all pretty much voted for Brexit, are Welsh, then I'd say they are majority Labour supporters. Traditional left of centre working class. This was the case on the building site I worked on last year for over a year in England and I'd say it's the same for him. Most off them were from Liverpool and Yorkshire on my site, but most of them voted Brexit and pretty much all of them would never ever vote Tory as a matter of upbringing. In the office on the other hand, we had 3 young engineers, all Tory voters 2 voted remain, one to leave.

There are left who voted to leave, and right who voted to stay. And in context, the swing is pretty small on the UK political spectrum until you get to people like Johnson and his fellow entitled Etonians. The elitists. But largely, this is not an issue of traditional political sides, it's an issue of unchecked immigration and declining public services due to overcrowding and under funding.

I'm Scottish. I get it. I also to a certain extent have no problem with Brexit and it's aim to cut the ridiculous bureaucracy that you mention. I also do not have a problem with cutting down on unchecked immigration and the UK controlling her own borders. I in fact, do not have a problem largely with Brexit after it was democratically decided upon.

What I do have a problem with is the incompetence of the people being tasked to bring it. I have never witnessed such a bunch of self serving, manipulative liars who are more concerned with their careers than the will of the people. Sure, let's see what Johnson does. What choice do we have? But it doesn't make one feel warm and fuzzy inside when they are more interested in protecting their own personal interests and wealth than that of the people they are elected to serve.

Except the Irish border apparently, where they will continue with no control whatsoever?

They're waiting for the anti Trump Hollywood stars leave the US first

Ireland must just reunification in order to avoid the requirement for a hard border between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland

The only small problem there is, erm, democracy. The majority want to remain part of the UK.

It's mainly a question of religion. The majority of the population are Protestant, have their roots in Scotland, and want to stay British. The minority are Roman Catholic and identify as Irish, and want to be part of a united Ireland.
