what the actual ****. we are not here to negotiate anything.

you agree, disagree, compromise, etc. during negotiations. they were attempting to negotiate, not us. if you get a cut on your arm, do you put a tampon on it? geezus
There you go, it's not simply disagreement, it's that and much much more. Boris is coming to the EU with a disagreement and nothing more, hence it's not a negotiation, it's simply a disagreement.
the twat in the video blatantly says that them disagreeing means there is no negotiation, in other words they expect all their terms to be agreed with. they are the ones that call no negotiations because of their terms not agreed with. he actually says it.
Actually he is quite clear that negotiation is more than just disagreement and Boris has brought nothing new to the table, hence there is nothing to negotiate. Perhaps you need to watch it again while actually using your ears and your brain.

have you ever negotiated for a salary or do you just accept what they offer? dont be daft.
I can just imagine how it goes when you negotiate your salary:
access: I'm not happy with my salary.
bossman: well what did you have in mind?
access: (crickets chirping)
bossman: look, if we're going to negotiate your salary you need to tell me what you expect, what you want.
access: (crickets chirping)
bossman: look, this is not you negotiating, you're just disagreeing with us over your salary
access: don't be daft, how can you say that, disagreement is part of negotiating.
bossman: ok, well then tell us what you want and we can take it from there
access: (crickets)

exactly, the eu will try delay brexit indefinitely, they do not want it to happen. keep extending it until they get what they want.

you cannot possibly believe high profile or political figures have no vested interests in brexit not happening.
Almost everybody in both the UK and the EU have a vested interest in brexit not happening. It's a stupid idea that will negatively effect everyone except a few wealthy brits who have a vested interest in a no deal brexit. Of course the eu will try and give the uk as much time as possible to come up with a deal or cancel brexit, duh. but they will have to close the door eventually and get on with things

except a few wealthy brits

This would have absolutely nothing to do with the amount of protest and opposition to the 3 month extension by people like Rees Mogg.

Council adopts the amended anti-tax avoidance directive
The Council adopted the final version of the amended anti-tax avoidance directive, introducing the rules to tackle hybrid mismatches with the tax systems of countries outside the EU.

The member states have to implement the directive in their national law by 1 January 2020.

The opposition parties have announced that they will not support a motion for an October election when Bojo makes it again on Monday.

wonderful choice at the election: Boris or Corbyn. lol. what a f***up
Better an election than these miserable curmudgeons actually manage to stop Brexit. If you think BoJo the clown is bad, you really won't like what gets elected after parliament thumbs its nose at the will of the people.

The opposition parties are completely mucking this up. Not only has Boris exposed their rank hypocrisy about an election but many voters will correctly blame the EU saboteurs in parliament, not Boris. Fits in perfectly with the "Parliament v People" narrative that Cummings is pushing.

This brings to mind the Monty Python argument sketch.

I wouldn't be at all surprised to find that those pushing for no deal are hoping it will lead to a recession and property market collapse. They'll have the funds to mop up distressed properties and then milk the public for decades through rent seeking.

Fits in perfectly with the "Parliament v People" narrative that Cummings is pushing.
Sounds like the sort of bullsh*t narrative he'd push.

General election date aimed to restrict student vote, Boris Johnson aides admit

Boris Johnson’s campaign team have privately admitted that one of the advantages of an October 15 election was that it could limit the number of students registering to vote.

No 10 is said to have factored in term times in deciding to push for an early election as it would mean campaigns had less time to ensure that students registered to vote. Those on the electoral roll at their home address would be less likely to travel to vote.

A large turnout of younger voters in the June 2017 election is thought to have contributed to the Conservatives losing their majority. Labour has also promised to scrap tuition fees.

One million people have registered to vote since Mr Johnson became prime minister, government data shows. Rumblings of a general election have spurred 200,000 people to sign up this week, with 82,000 of them doing so yesterday as the first attempt to force a poll failed in the Commons.

Under-35s made up 60 per cent of yesterday’s registrations.

Tory MPs Michael Fallon and Claire Perry quit as TEN more are set to follow this weekend

Another Theresa May acolyte retires - excellent:

Claire Perry became the latest to send Tory Election planning into turmoil by saying she will not contest her Devizes constituency –a plumb Lib Dem target – in any upcoming snap poll

Lib Dem target you say? A plumb seat for a true blue Brexiteer I'd say. Love how media portrays the purging of soft left Tories, who are really Lib Dems, as some sort of a disaster. Re-making political parties also requires some victims. That's how it is.

Don't all the students cheat by voting twice at their university and home address? No wonder Lefties are always so against improving the integrity of the vote.
