The Brexit Thread

Yet another thing Boris lied about, after saying 5 days ago that workers rights' are "enshrined" in the deal.

Jeremy Corbyn tore into Boris Johnson's promises on workers' rights and environmental protection in a testy exchange over the PM's Brexit deal.

The Labour leader hit out at the provisions in the Brexit bill which offer "no real protection".

And the Prime Minister ducked the crucial question about why he had moved workers' rights and environmental standards out of the legally binding withdrawal bill and into the political declaration.

BoJo was caught out lying about Northern Ireland again today.

Boris Johnson accused of misleading parliament after saying there would be 'no checks' between Northern Ireland and Britain
Prime minister directly contradicts the Brexit secretary and NI secretary over post-Brexit checks

Boris Johnson has been accused of misleading parliament after he claimed there would be "no checks" between Northern Ireland and Britain after Brexit.

The prime minister directly contradicted the Brexit Secretary, Steve Barclay, who admitted on Tuesday that Northern Ireland businesses will be forced to fill out export declaration forms when sending goods to Britain under the terms of the new Brexit deal.

His claim was also at odds with Julian Smith, the Northern Ireland secretary, moments earlier, who told a Commons committee there would be checks but they would be kept at a "minimal" level.

Unionists have reacted with fury to details of extra costs and customs checks for businesses in Northern Ireland under Mr Johnson's new Brexit plan, with DUP MPs describing the plan as "absolutely despicable".

The row centres on trade between Northern Ireland and Great Britain, with HRMC estimating that businesses could be charged between £15 and £56 for export declaration forms.

Expect another barrage of lies and misinformation.

This summer, it was revealed how Sir Lynton Crosby’s CTF Partners used Facebook to run a large-scale professional disinformation network on behalf of paying clients including major polluters, the Saudi Arabian government, anti-cycling groups and various foreign political campaigns.

Documents seen by the Guardian show that Topham and Guerin, while working as contractors for CTF Partners, had oversight of dozens of these pages which sidestepped Facebook’s rules on transparent political campaigning, reaching tens of millions of people on behalf of paying clients while appearing to be grassroots independent news sources.

Yip Large crowds of support, just like this rally of theirs in Wales.

You’re right that UKIP became the BNP, but the Brexit Party is simply the old UKIP with a new name and the same leader.

UKIP managed 4 million votes in a general election (without winning a seat), the Brexit Party will likely do better, but only by splitting the brexiter vote.

Boris' Great New Deal isn't Brexit.
It's Bexit by name only. It's a FAKE choice.

It isn't Great.
It isn't New (It's a warmed up Theresa May garbage from the bin which was voted down 3 times.)
It isn't a Deal. Its a new EU Treaty.

Its garbage which most Brexiteers didn't vote for in the 2016 elections.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson says he plans to ask Parliament to approve an early national election to be held on Dec. 12. Johnson says it’s the only way to break Britain’s Brexit impasse.

Will Jezza and the Labour Remoaner swamp vote for it? There seems to be a large disagreement within Labour whether they should vote for it. Looks like the SNP and Lib Dems will back it.

Will be glorious never having to see Clarke, Letwin, Rudd, Grieve in the HoC ever again.

The UK is the one leaving, and needs more time, so quite obviously they have to request more time and don't get to dictate the length of the extension.

Well they didn't specify did they.

It's not the only way. The other is to have another referendum.

Ah, did the permanent thicko David Lammy realise what he was voting for when he voted for the Surrender Act? It appears not.

It'll be even more glorious when you grow up a bit and stop writing like you're a twelve year old...

There is another way. Seeing how badly these politicians have dealt with Brexit, bring on ROYAL RUMBLE! Last man/woman standing has the final say to stay or leave. I would pay to watch this!
