I think he will be suited to the role. After all, "how to break the rules whilst acting like you're enforcing them" is pretty much an African leader MO . Dunno how much respect he will get though. Getting caught is very amateurish

I wonder what this unpaid role would actually involve. I can understand why there might be a rule that one is not allowing to to work for UN, or anyone else for that matter, if one is a UK MP. Being an MP is surely a full time job and presumably, if you take another job, unpaid or not, it's taking time away from the job you're actually being paid to do. I don't know, my job, I never seem to have enough time to do what needs to be done, I can't imagine taking on more responsibility. I would think being an MP gives you more than enough to do, without taking on other work.
