The Bubbles challenge round three

I'm using a Netgear router and on the router status page there are two options. The one is Show Statistics and the other is Connection Status.

So which one would be my Up Time?

Connection status.

BTW: If the weather is good in Cape Town there might be some maintenance work done around Helderberg and Stellenbosch which might lead to a few resets. Sorry...

Was wondering what was up with the connection this morning. Brilliant day in Strand for a walk on the beach.

So now I'm wondering, if your iBurst is powered up but not logged in, does the tower still see it as connected ? or does it have to have an active session ?

Iburst got me at 4:51 this morning :(

I finally managed a 5 day uptime and the tower died or something.

I'm still connected after a visit from the bandwidth fairy:

Well I am definately out of this race as it appears there is a problem with the Tokai tower

Second morning in a row that I have been disconnected at about 4:50

So I guess this shows that iburst doesn't have the longest connection tiomes

Compared to who?

Darn just had a power failure here in pta, uptime now 3 hours.

When towers hand off modems does the modem redial? Never really paid attention to uptime on the connection till now but noticing it gets dropped at least once every day or so. The actual router uptime is closing on 2 months.
