I tried some of this to make bolognese recently and surprisingly very nice. I think you also get it in a can.Personally My all time favorite is the diced and chopped tomatoes as mentioned before Italian style for pasta and Indian style when making curries or stews. Chick peas or butter beans with a curry is also very nice. Decent spicy Chakalaka with a braai can be nice too.
