the cheapest sli core2 duo board

Forget about SLI - its cheaper and faster to buy a single card.

ASUS Nforce based conroe board - R3000 +

ASUS Intel 945P SE board - R850

Feature wise you only get 3 extra SATA ports and, and... I cant think of anything else.

Take the extra R2200 and spend it on a good single graphics card. Or even better, put it away untill January when Gforce 8800's will become available
