I don't know about the rest of you, but the launch in Johannesburg was great and everything, however I still can't celebrate yet and ditch Vodacom; I don't have coverage.

So if there is any news on the progress for coverage in the following areas, please share

I've heard February for Alberton... can't comment on how true it is though.

This afternoon they've switched off the 3G tower nearest to me. Only got the EDGE tower. Even nearer. They must be working in this area.

So far JHB south connects only at "EDGE".

Waiting for mid-January or February.

Got a call from Cell C technical last week friday about a 2 week old query :wtf: and the guy said that Kempton Park / Glenmarais suburb will be fully rolled out beginning Jan 2011.

When asking how long it takes the answer was "a day or two"...

Guess that only time will tell!
