I have a question about this, but let me first tell the story...

Last Wednesday I noticed there were PS+ games I hadn't "bought" yet. I thought this was strange as I usually get them on day one, but my mind's been all over the place lately. Without paying enough attention to the details I realised I'd actually managed to buy the said games, and PSN took R2270 from my credit card for them. Later I saw this happened because my PS+ account expired a few days earlier. I'd also remembered that I did indeed add the games to my PS+ account earlier that month - remembering Lone Survivor as one of the titles.

I immediately called PartServe who said I need to fill in a form and submit it to them for the R2270 refund. I did so and receive this response back this morning:

Hi, please find the reply below from psn team

All purchases need to be confirmed at checkout page, so the consumer did have the opportunity to review the content that they were purchasing and confirm that it was what they wanted to buy.

When purchasing digital content, consumers don’t have the right to cancel their purchase because they are receiving access to the content immediately (even if they do not download it straight away).

The content is available to use on the console and cannot be removed, even if we were to refund the purchase. As the content cannot be ‘returned’ to us, we cannot consider a refund.

Additional information on consumers’ purchase cancellation rights can be found in our Terms of Service.

My question is: what can I actually do to get a refund, or is it futile and I've lost the R2270?

I'd like to note that I didn't download the games at all once I saw the error.
