Enjoy. If you can, try to stash a couple for a few years. I've had a couple, most recently last month, and don't get me wrong it's an incredible beer but I think the hype and the back story push up the expectations.

My boss lives in Brussels and he has been buying a couple of cases a year and stashing them, so when he opens them he can compare different years to each other. Jealous...

Was going to wait for the weekend, but oh well. The gorilla made me do it.

If you like hop forward as well as dark beers then this is right up your alley. Nice hop aroma followed by a roasted malt on the nose. Taste seems to be the other way round. Huge malty flavours which eventually give way to a bitter finish. Certainly wouldn't say it's 8.5% ABV. Doesn't "feel" heavy.

Anyway two thumbs up from me. Well done BCO.

Edit. That was bottle no 13. How many are there?
