The Craft Beer Thread

Granadilla and sour. :p

I'd at least give it a go if for nothing else than something different. Aegir project was working on a grapefruit and narchie summer beer when I was last there. Should be on tap the the stellies beer fest this weekend.

My local allows free tasting. I tasted it. More like a cider than a beer. I was there for the beer. ;)

I'm quite interested to know how you found the Innis & Gunn beer. I thought it was a bit sweet.
Yeah it probably was a bit sweet - didn't particularly enjoy this one too much but I've been feeling a bit ill the last few days so need to try again with a fresh face. They're usually pretty good, though better in winter on a cold night.

Seasonal red weiss. Which reminds me their October fest beer should also be out...

That DP Black South Easter is the business!!

Both Theo de Beer's stout and Pale Ale are to die for if you are on the E Tvl highveld (read Dullstroom)

Had the cbc Oktoberfest at beer yard tonight. A bit sweeter than I'd like. I was really fortunate to go to Munich last year and the festbiers were super easy to drink. If I'm honest I was a little disappointed in what cbc have put out.

Had a taster at my local and declined it, too sweet.
