Jack Black Lager R16.5*0.4-R16.50 = -R9.90

That is about the going rate for a 6 pack. . .

That is just the first beer I chose to do this sum with.
Where do ypu get Jack Black beer for R60 for a six pack?

+1. I'd also like to know where you're getting Jack Black at that price.
Edit: Ok Liquor City is R78.95 for a case - so almost R20 more than what you're getting for with that discount.

Re my beer allergy ...

Had a Brewers Union Steph Weiss this afternoon, after 30 minutes I had a bit of a snot nose, nothing to worry about. Then I had Boston Johnny Weiss ... 10 minutes later I was basically having a hay fever attack. Nose is still running. Worst ever!

Avoid wheat beer if you have snot nose allergies.

Instant snot nose when I try Castle or Windhoek draught for example. Are they wheat based?

I just can't figure out which ingredient it is. Not that there is much listed on the labels. Might be a preservative?

Lunch at Honingklip. Their new Super saison is really nice.
Silly question for a beer thread but...how's their food? I'm sure a few pages ago someone was saying that other than the beer the food wasn't so great anymore. Thinking of going through next weekend although I'd like to try somewhere else (other than Triggerfish and the Southern Suburbs breweries).

That was me. Didn't like their sausage platter when I was there a month or so ago. I had it before, maybe 9 months ago, and it was awesome then.

The pairing was bad, there were big chunks of fat and they were falling apart.
