Not too shabby at all... easy to drink, not sweet, slight hoppy flavour.
5% alc.vol
Probably to challenge market share of Amstel, Heineken, Windhoek Lager, etc.

Saggy Stone is excellent. They have a beer stop on their farm which is part of the Willow Creek MTB ride, I always stop for the ale. Enjoying some Wild Clover Double Owl right now. uploadfromtaptalk1448802917326.jpg

Huh... Not a single note of IPA. Just tastes like a light Lager . Something not right here.

Had my first Brewdog Punk IPA (not much choice in the sticks). Pretty decent. I thought it was a SA craft beer but I see it's Scottish.

I have yet to taste a ****ty bear, except for everything served at bierfest this year. Perhaps you guys are a bit too... erm... snobby?

I poured my first swagga IPA down the drain.
I thought this might just be a dud but seems it might just be how their IPA is. There's absolutely no bitterness or hopiness to it. Won't be buying again. On to the next one....

I've had a mix of off beers (infection / other issue) and beers that just didn't taste like anything special at all. The whole point of craft (for me at least) is a superior product in taste and experience. If I wanted meh I'd go shopping for SAB, which is at least predictable and cheaper.

Am I the only one that don't like the Skeleton Coast IPA? I like their other beers and I like IPAs... Just really don't enjoy this one.

It's a little different than all the other IPAs available locally - As long as it is fresh it is fantastic.

You're probably drinking from the wrong end…
