My issue with pumpkin beers is they're never spicy enough. They need to taste like a festivity in a bottle. The Van Hunks has a slight plastic taste to it that I can't describe any other way. Not a huge fan of the Jan Pampoen either.

Just had a Brewdog PunkIPA.

Still not sure if I enjoyed it or not. Very fruity.

Don't like their beer. Especially when it's not ice cold out of the tap.

Hmmm is that a stout I see over there. Don't think they had that when I was there. I did enjoy nibbling on the roasted malty grain pieces tho.

They've always had a stout.

Honey Dew is good, had that in London a few weeks back, and 1st Light is another good one.
Heh yeah that Stellenbrau Lager expiry date was Dec 2015 but was still good and not too bad a lager. I'm not too excited about the Weiss and the Robsons, but will probably try them tonight. Devils Peak always good and so is Brewdog, and that Honey Dew is looking like a good choice ice cold out the freezer later today with this warm weather.

Anything in your fridge for today?

Yeah stout. I'm a stout person. Not a very present stout though.

Time for something festive.

So the Robsons East Coast Pale Ale is nothing to write Santa about - not something I'd bother with again.

The Fullers Honey Dew is nice - can't really fault it for anything but probably won't buy it again. Just because there's too much local beer I'd rather buy regularly. Although those Innus & Gunn went down really well with guests over the holidays and I reckon they'll be the only imported beer I occasionally buy the year ahead.

Was it bad? I remember it being quite light and drinkable. Might be drunk/confused.
