I'm in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town for a couple of days. Where's the best places to get get some craft? Both off license and bars.

That should do it. How about an impromptu mybb meet?

You should also pop in at the Devils peak tap room.

Isn't liquor city the place to get craft in SS?

Yup. Liquor city Claremont on Palmyra road has a great selection

You should sign up for Park run. You can walk it too. Rope a few friends in. Bit easier to get motivated that way over the boring gym slog.

I have no problem with motivation. Just don't get time with 14 month old running around :D

Anyway, it's amazing how craft beers have taken off and how many restaurant / pubs now have them on tap. Going to Fat Harrys next month for a BDay and the first thing a see in their banner is ...

Was also paging through a finance magazine yesterday and they had an article on the top 10 business ideas for 2016 and one of them was starting you own micro brewery :)

I started drinking this back in 2013 when we used their tasting room as a boardroom for scrum retrospectives. Back then they only had Lager or Ale and working next door to them there was this lovely brewery smell in the air most of the time. Unless the wind was wrong, then you got the smell of the sewerage plant across the road...

Good times.

Well now I understand why I've always thought their beers taste like crap
