On the whole, yes.
Also whenever these "breweries" are at events you will never have the brewer serving the beer - usually just some local person who doesn't know that much about the beer.
Contract brewing as a means to get your brand out there before starting your own brewery is one thing - but I get the feeling that a lot of these contract brews are just trying to jump on the craft beer bandwagon.
Ummm, I think it's better than their blonde. Not the worst beer I've ever had, pretty drinkable, but not a helluva lot going on here.

Box has 2 x kings block house and 2 x first light ale. Available at Checkers liquor stores.
One of the nicest local stouts I've had so far. Doesn't have that sour aftertaste I've had from some others. Nice robust, almost burnt taste.

That head looks quite light
Oh nice - but I suspect this is only in Cape Town?
Oh no. I'm such a sucker for a free glass. Easter weekend excuse as well ...
Quite carbonated. Bottle gave a decent fshhhhhh when opening. I drank it very cold - so the carbonation was nice, if I'd served it slightly warmer I'd probably have preferred less carbonation. That head looks quite light - lots of bubbles - how was the carbonation on that one?
I'm not too much of a fan of stouts that are overly carbonated.
