The Craft Beer Thread

Ah, ok got you!

Some of the smaller brewers use smaller fermenters to get their different brews on tap quicker - Irish Ale House and Anvil Ale House come to mind here. AFAIK, both only have single fermenters.

That's crazy!

Stout from Truth Coffee. They use their own coffee - so not sure if they're brewing on premises or someone else it doing it. Anyway, not bad...a little sour around the edges of the tongue maybe.

Work? Psh. Work some other day. Today is beer day :D.

What's wrong with you all . Start drinking beer!

I've cracked open the Cederberg Voertsek IPA. The more I drink IPA's, the more I like 'em. Oh yeah I asked at Liquor City about sour beers - dude didn't know what I was on about :p. Said he'll take a look around and see what they can get.

Has Copper Lake started bottling their chocolate yet, had some in the Broadacres bar and enjoyed that.

Hmmm...I really enjoyed these at the start, but lately they've tasted different...can't quite put my finger on it. Carbonation also seems different.

Felt like some good beer on the way home. Stopped at closest PnP Liquor. Selection sucked. Ended up with a Grolsch, Beast of the Deep and dare I say it Darling Silved Back (hangs head in shame). Need to get to Claremont again :(

You live in the Northern Suburbs? Regardless - it's not right that you don't have a decent stockist of craft beers. Write to your local Councillor and raise the issue :p.
