What's the shelf life like for our local craft beers?

Probably an infection of some description - probably lactobacillus.

Poor sanitation practices - seems to be a common theme with a lot of SA craft breweries.

nah, didn't taste like an infection, more like burnt malt

the LMB APA is okay, but had enough yeast in it for me to start a brewery

What's the shelf life like for our local craft beers?

Will vary from brewer to brewer, I wouldn't chance more than the old SAB standard of 12 weeks

so the Mainstream Altbier has potential, but I think this one is slightly infected, got a touch of sourness and I would consider it too hazy for a filtered beer
