Guys I need some help. I really want to buy some of those Grolsch beer bottles. I see Consol makes a similar bottle but there only retailer that they mention on there website is in Woodmead and that would be a huge hassle to go to.

All the beer supply stores I know don't ship bottles and it also seems like Makro has some Consol stuff but not these bottles.

Some help would be much appreciated.

It's not dry, but you can drink it.

Be careful with these flip top types though. If you can, inspect them yourself physically, I have two of these bottles (not the ones from makro specifically but same type and size of bottles) and I've found the wire used and the mechanism itself is pretty shoddy. For instance it would clip out of the bottle when you try to close it, then you have to force the clip back into place.

As long as its fresh - I've had a few up here in JHB that haven't been all that wonderful.

That beer doesn't age gracefully.
