The Craft Beer Thread

Was at Ale House in Broederstroom yesterday, cool vibe. Had a pale ale which was just easy drinking, a red ale which was gorgeous and a buchu beer which is a beer brewed with Buchu leaves. Buchu is a member of the roiibos family and gave the beer a very interesting minty type flavour.

Certainly maize. In their defense if you have those sorts of volumes to deliver you probably take what you can get.

No rice or maize adjuncts that I'm aware of at Darling. Spent quite a few hours with Felix, the brewer there, a few weeks back and didn't see anything resembling rice or maize in their grain stores.
