The Craft Beer Thread

Had the cider at 55km with 23km to go - a wise move. The Blood Serpent at 71km with 7km to go. Slow beer at the finish line - what an awesome brewery to do an event like that.

So I had one of these today.

It's quite mouthful, with a strong savignon blanc taste and a clean finish.

Fine and smooth bubble, less like beer and definitely more like a wine

I like those a lot, but I could not find them so I got Leffe, Slow Beer (Darling Brew), Milk and Honey (Mitchells), Devils Peak First Light and Strong Bow (lool) for the month. or At least for this weekend.

I had one at the DP Tap Room here in Salt River - Cpt.

Generally I am not too fond of the Devils Peak beers, but these more experimental beers are very interesting.

I'm back on the Whisky now though

What a treat this has been. The Italian Job knows what they are doing - got 2 of each of their beers, one for me and one for the connoisseur (my wife). We started off with the Lager and it is an easy one, only 3.5 % ABV, followed by the Weiss and now on the Pilsner. Excellent beer thus far. Each one has a cool story too. My wife is usually picky about at least one beer when I buy a batch like this so I'll be sure to post about the remaining 3 we have.

Saved two for today, and they are as good as those from yesterday. The dark lager was something different for me, my wife did not like though. I think it definitely is something you should try at least ones.
