Got a case of these from work. It’s a German red beer, soaked in rum barrels. Quite spicy.

6.8% so it’s fairly strong but quite nice. Takes some getting used to though, the first few sips aren’t great. Grows on you though.

Porters are supposed to be quite fizzy. The fine foam head is part of the style :)

According to the 2015 BJCP guidelines, the India Porter, as a style of "Foreign Extra Stout", has "moderate to moderately high carbonation". I've always noted that it has high carbonation, but I have to be honest that I've not tasted too many of them. I prefer them with a bit more foam as well, it helps the style along a lot, specially on the nosing and bringing the roasted notes forward.
