The Craft Beer Thread

Nice light lager for summer.
Loving the stuff Saggy Stone brew.

Just launched their Bear Jam IPA as well, looks really good.

Seeing the travel pics made me realise I forgot my portugal ones.

My word the prices were insane!

2-4.5 Euro per 80/100ml a non craft sagres/superbock pint is 1-3 euro

TLDR the Portugal craft beer scene is tiny - loads of great beer though. But my word the prices. Paying R200-R300 for a flight of beer hurt. We often take what we have in SA for granted - great experience though!

Not craft but cant beat an ice cold MACRO in its home!

Been a while since I brewed decided to try my hand at a sour. Decided to go with a gose.

Doing a three way split.
1. Gose
2. Gose plus pineapple juice
3. Gose plus pineapple juice and coconut.

I thought of trying to do a proper pineapple beer with my knowledge now and thought pineapple juice in a gose would work wonderfully well and then I thought to add coconut too for a Pina colada vibe. This should be a light 4.2-4.4% abv beer and be beautiful crisp and lightly tart with a touch of salt and coriander from the style.

In short perfect December beer!

Might go

Gose
Gose with pineapple and coconut
Gose with lime/orange

So a pina colada and margarita vibes

Finished the kettle souring yesterday ended at 3.3ph will start fermenting today!
