Not sure about this but I suspect that one might play better with all the eye candy turned down to minimum in many of the FPS games, certainly BF1942 and I think bf2 (although my box isnt powerful enough to have all settings at max) Obviously view distance is important. I remember how hard it was to see mines in bf1942 but if you turned the detail right down it was like spotting turd in your bath (very easy). Its hard to see through a fully leafed tree but a stick model does not obscure things as much. Thoughts? (and yes, teamies do always run over my mines and punish me :/ )

its true, tried and tested, but i still prefer to play on max settings anyway and hand ass

you miss the point, it may be beautiful, but its harder to actually see the enemy amongst all that beauty.

put everything low and go sit back on an IO game and the snipers will stand out like pole dancers

lol.. ya they should make like a standard setting for multiplayer or something.. and if you cant run that then unlucky.. cuz even in call of duty we do it.. ppl stick out and are easy to see with everything off :)

The only thing I turn off is shading so I can see them in the buildings as if there was REAL light and not some creepy dark shade that somehow hollows around the construction building

or how about my l33t -falloffthebuildingandideinthefirst5secondsofthebiggestclangameoftheyearsofarhax?

That just set the tone for the whole bloody round.. :(

Your best (and only? :p) vehicle seems to be a vodnik! You were pomping earlier ;)
