Who will begetting this on pre-order, release or wait.


I am definitely getting it but I will wait for a month about to see if the most stuff is working and stable.
 
I'm about as excited about this as I am about Destiny/Anthem

So not at all.
Looks massively boring.

I bought it, but purely because I am frustratingly bored with my current game library. After 4000 hours on Dota, I can't anymore. Not even Dota Chess can save it.

I am busy 'preloading', should be done by tonight, and pending on loadshedding I will probably try out the game today.

Received a mail earlier that our region went live around 08h00. When I installed, it was preload only (still on the 15th).

Will be playing throughout Sunday.

I will report back.
 
I see that I am close to done downloading the game, but loadshedding is incoming today. Tomorrow I will dive into the game and see whether it was worth the buy.

Just to put it out there, I already played the two latest AAA live service titles Anthem and Fallout76, both a mess, but this game will be competing with Anthem.

This game is leagues above Anthem. It is a really great game with minor bugs, most of them are fixed already.

Anthem, still without a endgame, is now in a better place now that BioWare has increased the drop rates. Grinding in Anthem is now cool and attractive.

The Division 2 is a better game. It is The Division 1, but better mechanically. I have the Gold Edition, but you don't need the Year 1 Pass unless you want early access and cosmetics. The 8 additional side missions are a backpack cosmetic hunt and nothing more. Looking back, I would have rather purchased the Standard Edition. €40 is a lot and I don't see the value.

PvP in The Division 2 is littered with lvl 30 players with Demolition and Sniper skills. I am level 10, having a blackout in DC.

Once I play more I will give my thoughts on The Division 2, but at this stage I will still go back to do The Division 1 Underground, etc. and so on as I like those modes.

All I can say now is that The Division 2, the weapon mechanics are sublime as compared to the all out The Division 1 arcadiness (yes, made up word). The Division 2 is still arcade, but more Arma.

You should take time to read up on certain stuff. PvP for instance is normalized, so even if they are level 30 players and you are level 10, you do the same damage as they do, except in the occupied DZ, which is random from the available 3 zones. It might be possible that you went into the occupied DZ. Even conflict has normalized stats so level counts for nothing.

The normal version is perfectly acceptable and I would not advise any one to purchase the gold or ultimate editions if they are not sure they are going to play the game for a extended amount of time after release. Yes the extra missions is cosmetic, and I understand why since if it was anything else there would be an outcry from the community that it is P2W, so that is a perfect solution.

TD2 just feels more alive, and dangerous, looks better and flows smoother, there is tons more to do in TD2 then there is in any other game upon release, I am level 30, havent started with the world tiers just yet and I played 30 hours. I can tell you that I didnt even go and explore the underground areas or even 80% of the map yet, I imagine if I did I would still be a very low level. I will go hunt for all the collectables and easter eggs once I reach WT4, but for now I play solo till WT4 so it takes a bunch of time to finish the missions.

I am having the best time I have had in a game since a very long time and I have to praise Massive and Ubisoft, since they got it mostly right, look there is bugs, but with a game this size there is no way you can expect the game not to have any. There will also be a steady flow of content according to them so I suspect this game will keep me busy for a loooooong looooooong time...... Now if I can only get a clan =P
 
I've not managed to download it yet thanks to load shedding :(

It may be normalised, but I'm talking about lvl 30 players using their specialisations. You have snipers on some points holding spawn points up, lining up players with a single shot.

As with The Division 1, the season pass (now Year 1 Pass) included the expansions. I guess, should there be expansions, that it may also be included (F2P) or sold separately (or even included in a Year 2 Pass). Ubi is still very vague about how they are planning the content.

To be honest underground was the only decent expansion.
I had the season pass so automatically received all the expansions.
The issue is the minute you have to pay for expansions your player count decreases.

I still go back to The Division 1 to play Underground with other people. The Division 1 is really busy at the moment, but I believe it was due to the massive discount on the Gold Edition as you can clearly see it in the cosmetics the people have applied.

Ubi has a recipe, and they also expanded Wildlands with additional annual passes (containing expansions). What I’m saying is, Ubi isn’t very open as to where The Division 2 will be going come March 2020 when the current Year 1 Pass expires. They did state that all Year 1 story expansions (and PvE) will be F2P with no elaboration on PvP or PvEvP expansions.

It is obvious that they will collect data and see whether the new store, which is still rather dull, will maintain the game as a service and how much time players are investing in the game.

I like the game. Just so much uncertainty with a very expensive Year 1 Pass which is nothing more than a cosmetic drop and store discount coupon until March 2020. It may be that the three-story expansions, the new specialisations coming with that may be extremely grindy without the pass.
 
Few of us from Pap en Vleis WoW guild have branched over to the division 2
really enjoying it sofar!

If you are looking for a local is lekker clan. I have started up a Pap en Vleis clan for the Division 2
Its open to all to join at this stage - Feel free to join up if you are still looking for a clan

We plan on doing organized raiding etc when it eventually releases.
Until then hopefully be a hub where people can get together for endgame (or leveling if you still are) content and the likes
 
For a game which is bugged and I mean there are many bugs people aren't really complaining about it en masse.

I still have the Castle bug (which was apparently resolved) and a side mission which is completed, but shown as incomplete and is now inaccessible to access on the map with SHD Tech inside. The perks from that sidemission is also nonexistent as it is suppose to be unlocked.

MANY map, enemy and NPC glitches, damn. Sometimes the grenade launchers goes into crazy mode and launch grenades every second or they glitch out in the movement (which is nice when it happens to a boss :p). There are a lot more than this glitch. Last night while playing they did a maintenance patch to resolve the skills glitch.

Currently I only want them to fix my two broken missions. I see the specific sidemission bug was reported 6 days ago and as already mentioned they thought they fixed the Castle bug.
