Is this not already being done? Im maybe misunderstand you again and don't feel like typing an essay with bad grammar again, so maybe you can elaborate a bit more. Ill read it in the morning

Well one scenario would be you browse with safari on your iMac and when you open safari on your iPad you see the exact webpage at exactly the same position on the screen. Or you open iTunes and begin a song, hit pause, and it carries on playing when you hit play on your iPod. That kind of thing. Thus the term: continuous client.

We are seeing this kind of thing more and more, and iCloud is the framework which will cause mass adoption by developers.

LightTrac - shows you sun/moon elevation, angles etc. on google maps
ND Calc - exposure calc for using ND filters
Depth of Field Calculator (DoFC) - DoF and exposure calc

Camera+, PhotoToaster, Photogene and Iris

I'm surprised I don't see filterstorm on that list. Its got to be the most impressive editing app available! Snapseed from Nik is also great.

Thanks. That's pretty quick so I will do that tonight.

Was really hoping to get it before the weekend. Now I don't have to drag along the laptop and cables and and and to Ellispark tomorrow for the final.

I've got an Eye-Fi card so it's an appealing option - unless I've got a heavy assignment I can usually leave my laptop at home.

Had the iPad for a year now, recently got the iPad2 but only unboxed it today so I'm not in a position to comment about it yet. Both 16gb.

I got my cards from Amazon.

Okay thanks was just wondering in terms of transfers, assume you transfer in to your iPad do the editing transfer out and delete! Will have a look for the cards on amazon thanks!

Or sync to my PC later. Generally though I keep RAW files on in the camera and send jpgs to the iPad.

Edit: Anyway this is my first i-product, how do you make this whole eco-system work for you?
So far iTunes doesn't bother me that much, only have about 6 CD's I want to import.

How do I sync between a PC that won't be on the internet and PCs that will?

Maybe you can write a iTutorial for us beginners.

Then it's 4.3. Newer stock should come with 5 otb. Be prepared for a hefty download.
