The Droid TV thread

Anybody got the Freesat TV boxes with android 7 plus getting free satellite on T2/S2/c band satelite. How's the quality of that TV box ?
 
so now after dstv now app working on minix neo u1 for a while ......

i get the message "playback only supported on google certified devices "

Eish, just can't win

Anyone else ?

The older app 1version back gives the message. This box is registered to another user.
That's why I tried the latest one. I will try and older one.

Which one still works
 
Regarding the Neo. I had the same error message from the dstv now app. I phoned customer support and gave them the device ID to re register on the account. That sorted it out.
 
I'm sure this has been asked a million times but gonna ask again.

Which Android box should I get for my Mom so she can watch kodi or terrium TV and netflix in 1080p.

Something that I can setup once and she can just use without me having to basically live there to keep the thing operational.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
