I would miss the ethernet port... so much quicker to transfer stuff to/from as well as stream.

Same position, but reticent to load Win8 on my HP just 'cos Netflix doesn't run on OpenElec.

What's the deal with quad / dual core in the android sphere? So often something is advertised as quad core when it's in fact a dual core CPU but quad core GPU, or am I mistaken? I think there's often a lot of misinformation there.

Back on topic, has anyone been able to test the 3D playback of the DroidTV MX? I'd love to hear more about that (I don't have a 3D TV otherwise I would).

It certainly can be done manually if you have a rooted box (which mine is - I got from you). I'll post manual instructions for that this weekend and test this app. For under R30 it's worth it...
