Anyway, you should be able to play it on low or medium/low. Most games these days are more CPU intensive than GPU.

The game only uses max 2GB of ram by default. If you're playing on high or ultra at high res (1920x1080) then downloading the ram fix will allow the game to make use of your extra ram. I play on medium at 1366x768 though so it doesn't really affect me as the game only uses around 1GB ram.

Yeah I think it will run fine. I'm running it on a desktop dual-core i5 on high settings and res 1600x1024 which was recommended default. Granted laptop CPU is less powerful than desktop counterparts it should still be fine.
