I think I've finally decided to go back to the first party I voted for: UDM.
I'm conflicted because on one hand I don't like many of the DA policies, but they are the largest opposition, and I don't want to waste my vote.. On the other hand I like COPE's policies but they seems to have fizzled out. On the third hand I like Mr Holomisa.
If she went out at 07:00am then the queue wouldn't have been that long ...
I went at 07:40am, waited until 08:30am and then finally voted and left.
I am personally quite shocked at just how many people in South Africa have shown me the finger this morning.
Were you wearing a DA t-shirt?
Which of the DA policies don't you like and which COPE ones do you like?
COPE:
ensure that popularly elected representatives can
be removed from offi ce by the people, but only
through clearly defined and nationally agreed
constitutional procedures
facilitate, support, safeguard and reward citizen
activism and investigative journalism to increase
accountability
implement sound environmental practices, with an
emphasis on sustainable development, recycling,
environmental sustainability
So basically the same as the DA policies.
