Awesome posts in this thread. Thanks folks.

I have a soft spot for spoken voice samples in music, be it electronic or otherwise.
The mechanical almost machine like rhythm of the music interspersed with sporadic human voice soundbites, treated or untreated, just add something to the piece for me. This is enhanced if there is some sort of context to the samples... even if these are juxtaposed or perhaps ironic.
They just add that little something phenomenal to it all.

When it is done with some sort of introspective nostalgia or even flippant irony, it hits a sweet spot.

Here... although not electronic per se... it just resonates.
