New album dropping soon... Yay!

Oh yikes I have some catching up to do with this thread...wish there was a way to playlist the last 3 pages.

Ima just post something light & happy so long. Need some contrast to this weather, and soon the lights will be low and flames high and dark beats will envelope my world :p. So yeah - light and quirky, nothing new, but I really enjoy this album. Track from Baths - Cerulean:

^ One of my favourites. Lovely Bloodflow is epic.
Yup. It's quite strange how polarizing this album is. People either love it or don't like it at all. Played it for someone once and they got irritated at how unstructured it sounded and I think his vocal style just puts some people off. But yeah - one of those albums I always walk away from in a good mood :).

Oneohtrix Point Never, Replica
(Mexican Summer, 2011)

Daniel Lopatin’s third album is a benchmark in compromise between couples where one person can’t sleep without low hum of the TV and the other needs music. Replica samples heavily from late-night infomercials, invoking a patchwork of warped Discovery Channel scores and wave splashes, animals wheezing, and otherworldly cadences from human mouths chopped and looped before further details can be gleaned. If he could only make the blanket bigger we’d be good. — DAN WEISS
