I see mine is already set back to Dubai. :cautious:
 
Would like to see the JHB / PRA version, lots of shops were removed from the 2019 version to 2020

They should just fix the app first, the updated version does not work with location settings turned, it defaults to Dubai. Choosing a city manually leaves in the middle of Braamfontein when i'm closer to Pretoria

Reinstall the app (or delete the storage). It will allow you to select your city again correctly.
 
Do you guys often come up against restaurants who are listed in the app but still refuse to accept it? Happened to me three times so far. In fact, Piza e Vino is the only place I've ever successfully used it.

Haven't had any restaurants refuse to accept, we usually check before ordering.
However post lockdown, can't say I've used it much.
My frustration with the entertainer is their darn app

Only issue I’ve had is that at one place when the bill came and I mentioned the entertainer, they suddenly said all the main meals are special menu items so we can’t use it.

But I haven’t used it much this year. I’ve never had a problem at Piza e Vino either.

Tough situation. If they accept it after covid, I'm sure to add a 20% tip at least to keep the people happy.
 
It really annoys me that many restaurants dont honor the discounts. They substitute it or say its only available on certain days.

I know that times are tough at the moment but then perhaps they need to remove themselves from the app if they cant honor their discounts.

Just ask upfront then you can just walk out if need be.

Nope. It has become a confirmation before booking arrangement. Some restaurants have requested to be removed but remain on. Some are on but don’t honor. I’ll see how this year goes else I’ll give it a miss next year.
