Same boat there Just Ice. I had Ronaldo as my captain for the 1st phase and changed him to Torres - well hopefully Torres can get a hat trick instead of Villa next time round.

Terrible conditions for the Turkey - Swiss game. We could well see some red cards as tackles in this weather can be troublesome.

I have been disappointed by the ref in this Turkey Swiss game. He hasnt taken the conditions into account at all and is blowing for any minor contact between players.

The guys couldn't play really.
The first goal? the water just stopped the ball. My grand ma could have scored that goal as well.
Maybe the drainage system or ground men were good, I'm not sure!

Still. Too much money was invested in the game. It would have messed the schedule up. There has been games with worst conditions. Snow/Hail/heavy rain.

I think the weather men should be involved in situations like these, or not?
I'm sure they could have predicted the weather conditions days before the game so that they can make other arrangements?
