Well, they took us out at our ground, so I don't think that they are afraid of who and where they have to play.

Maybe playing on that cabbage patch has been beneficial? Put them on a silky smooth Premier League deck and they play with the footwork of angels. Some of their goals against your lot were beautifully set-up and executed.

They set a modern attendance record, more than they pulled against Arsenal in the League Cup two seasons ago. The gaffer now reckons he wants a home tie as the players were buzzing off of the crowd and he wants them to experience a packed house again. Sure Old Trafford would be a dream day out for a lot of the players, but they'd only take 6 - 10k max and that ground can be notoriously void of atmosphere if the home fans are not trying.

Pick of the round definitely United v Arsenal.
A few upsets in the round will also make it more interesting :)
 
Nice draw for Liverpool. Of the EPL sides Arsenal probably got the worst draw with United second worst. :p

Last year sas papered over some fundamental problems which were then cruelly exposed in the first part of the season.

The gaffer 's pretty much sorted out those problems and with Daniel back, scoring goals is on the uptick again.

Stevie G is sorted and can now be used tactically instead of desperately, Can and Sakho (shown the way by Toure) have helped Skrtl regain form, Migs kick in the arse helped him and the coach figure out how to make the most of his strengths, Lovren is showing glimmers of learning how to play in this team.

Sterling has manned up, Marko coming good, lallana coming good, Coutinho coming good, Henderson, Lucas, Moreno, hell, even Allen and Ballo in the last game. Now add Ibe into the mix...

We do indeed have much to look forward to.

There just seemed a lot of negative sentiment towards him in the Liverpool thread. Less recently offcoarse. I was just wondering if a FA Cup would make up for the possibility of missing out Champions League football. Essentially would a outside the top 4 finish and the FA Cup be seen as a successfull season.

No trolling, honest question.

can needs to get out of that defense though. most skillfull attacker we have now.besides sterling maybe. waste at cb. of current players he could replace stevie g.

if I see progress ill be content but the FA cup seems to present an opportunity because of how it has worked out. I think a bit disappointed if we don't get it tbh. top 4 will be tough considering the bad first half of the season. if they playing well im behind them no matter what. the results required will come. if however they go out there and play like turds with no future I get upset. lately it has been the former. so im relatively happy at the moment.
