Just had a look at my wife's and my own number plate. BOTH shows up as owing R5.42 but my car hasn't has been on the highway and the SO hasn't been through one gantry since launching. I haven't even driven my bakkie for the last month

nope again..... they've fiddled it, that you are paying tax on top of the road costs as well - I would say, that's supreme rimming in the rear....
congrats! then you are one of the at least 10% duplicate plate holders ;-)
I wonder hey. One is a KZN number plate which would be pretty stupid thing to duplicate up here. How do we request photos....?

Just make a note of the vehicles travels and wait for your account - I have a feeling they will soon block the checking of vehicles balances for unregistered folk...

We all know what they plan to do. Hit the initial 'offenders' hard and fast to get the rest to toe the line. We can hope that the general apathy South Africans have cultivated work in our favor here. But what can we actually, as a group, do to make this harder for them?
