If it's not registered they can't prove that you ever received it
 
I don't really care what they say, if they didn't send it by registered mail they can't prove that you received it

That's not SANRAL's problem. According to the SANRAC act, the onus in on the user to make sure they pay. This means going to an e-toll shop and paying - or registering on their site. The invoice (to them) is just a mer formality, nothing more.

All of which wont hold up in a court case im sure. They cant flout common sense or the CPA even if they are supposedly exempt from it

I'm still looking for a proper quote on this. My reading of THEIR laws still suggest otherwise.
 
Yep same thing, the one i got was just locally sourced and for a bike specifically
